Unexplained infertility
The term "Unexplained Infertility" is specifically used for couples who have not successfully conceived despite having:
Working fallopian tubes
Regular ovulation
Normal ultrasound of the uterus
Normal semen analysis
While being told subfertility is "unexplained" can be frustrating, pregnancy rates for these couples are statistically better than for those with an identified clinical problem.
Michael will assess and address other causes associated with subfertility such as endometriosis and lifestyle (smoking, alcohol, healthy diet and exercise).

Many couples benefit from COH-IUI (Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation with Intrauterine Insemination), which uses injectable medications to produce more than one egg per month combined with concentrated sperm introduced directly into the uterus.
IVF: For patient where COH-IUI has been unsuccessful or not appropriate due to age, AMH or preference, Michael will discuss IVF.
