Male Infertility

Male Factor Infertility is identified when a persistent abnormality is found in semen analysis across two tests, in a couple unable to conceive.

Because it takes approximately three months for new sperm to form and mature, an initial abnormal result is often repeated 90 days later to determine if the issue was temporary, as sperm production can be impacted by recent illness, medication, or heat.

Depending on the cause, Michael can facilitate advanced interventions including:

  • ICSI & PICSI: specialised techniques to inject a single, selected sperm directly into an egg.

  • Sperm Retrieval with a needle directly from the epididymis (PESA) or Testis (TESA), including in those with prior vasectomy.

  • Medical Therapy: Injectable medications to initiate sperm production in men with specific hormonal imbalances or prior anabolic steroid/testosterone use.
