Endometriosis is a condition where deposits similar to the lining of the uterus are found outside the uterus. During your menstrual cycle, these deposits become inflamed, leading to cyclical pain and potential subfertility.

  • An advanced ultrasound (COGU scan) to look for evidence of endometriosis

  • Surgical Intervention: Minimally invasive surgery to remove mild endometriosis has been shown to improve spontaneous pregnancy rates.

  • IVF: IVF may be considered the primary path if other factors, such as severe endometriosis, age or low ovarian reserve (AMH) are present.
